    A microphone is your controller

The funniest instrument in the room is you.

Play Mimic Party online for free. Hum a melody, squeak a wild call, or turn a tiny sound into a big performance. Every round ends with your own replay and a score you can try to beat.

    01 / LISTEN

    Catch the shape.

Hear the whole reference. Follow the yellow track and notice its pauses, little bursts and changes in pitch.

    02 / MIMIC

    Give it your voice.

A visible countdown leads into your take. Copy the timing in your own vocal range while the green track fills.

    03 / LAUGH

    Hear the difference.

Replay your voice alone or beside a quiet reference. See your score, change your route, and try the next sound.

    Before you grab the mic

    A few good questions.

    What is Mimic Party?

A free browser voice imitation game. Listen to a short sound, copy it using your microphone, and compare your melody and rhythm with the reference.

    Can I play with friends?

Yes. Join a public room directly from the online lobby, or create a private room and share its invitation with friends. 2–5 players mimic the same four sounds on their own devices and compare scores. Or choose Pass the Mic to take turns on one device. Online rooms share numeric scores, not voice chat.

    Is this the Steam game?

No. This is an independent browser game. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by FoliesAPP, Valve, or the Steam game named Mimic Party.

Do I need to sing perfectly?

No. Relative melody, rhythm, attacks and sound shape matter. Singing the same pattern higher or lower is allowed, and your voice identity is not graded.

    Why are there two waveforms?

Yellow is the reference and green is your recorded voice. The bars show loudness over time, not musical notes. Use your ears for melody and the tracks for timing.

Does the game upload my recording?

No. Recordings and audio features stay in your browser. You may choose to submit your nickname and numeric result to the community leaderboard.
